Jaycie Journey into counseling began with earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oklahoma State University, where I developed a deep appreciation for the ways relationships, family systems, and life experiences shape who we are. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she continues to strengthen the knowledge and clinical skills needed to support individuals with care, insight, and practical tools for growth.
She believes counseling is most meaningful when it is grounded in authenticity, trust, and collaboration. Her goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where clients feel seen, respected, and safe to explore their experiences. She is passionate about helping people recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and move toward healing and lasting change.
Outside of her academic and professional training, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, taking long walks with her dog, needlepointing, and baking.
