Kristen Rodgers, MA, LAC – holds a master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University. She brings over 20 years of experience in mentoring, leadership, and ministry, where she has walked closely with individuals and families through a wide range of life circumstances. Kristen works with women ages 13 and up who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and struggles with self-worth. She is also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator and enjoys helping couples better understand their relationship strengths, growth areas, and communication patterns.
Kristen views the therapeutic relationship as one of life’s great privileges and understands that beginning counseling can come with a wide range of emotions. She does not take lightly the trust it requires to share one’s story and pain. Her desire is to meet clients right where they are with an unbiased, confidential, and nonjudgmental presence. Her approach is warm, relational, authentic, and grounded in an attachment-focused, trauma-informed lens. She integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients better understand themselves and their relationship patterns. Kristen’s goal is for clients to gain insight, clarity, and confidence, along with practical tools they can use in daily life.
Outside of counseling, Kristen enjoys making memories with her husband and three children. She loves exploring new places, learning, going to concerts, spending time around horses, and all things Disney.
