Logan Robertson (He/Him) is a Provisionally Licensed Master Social Worker (PLMSW) who aims to create a safe space where children and adolescents can come as they are to refine their skills and achieve their goals. He specializes in providing trauma-focused care for teen guys who have experienced abuse. Prioritizing the collaborative nature of the therapeutic relationship, Logan leads with humility–each client is the expert of their own experience so that each client feels empowered rather than analyzed.
Logan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University and his Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He has experience working with children and adolescents from his time with the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club and the Children’s Safety Center of Washington County. During his time at each organization, he engaged with topics related to anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, and masculinity.
While trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Logan utilities a holistic therapeutic approach which incorporates concepts from various evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to ensure each client is given uniquely personalized support.
When Logan is not working with clients, he spends time with his wife and two dogs or hosting family board game nights. He also loves discovering new music, drawing, rewatching Adventure Time, and–most importantly–having fun with those around him.
